Route setting details for w/c 9th March:
Bit different this week due to our Boulder Open Comp taking place on Saturday 14th.
Whether you’re taking part or planning to come for a climb away from the comp, there are things worth knowing ahead of the week and on the Saturday itself. There will be some disruption and a few restrictions in certain areas at various times throughout the week and on the day.
The park is going to be busier than usual so if you were looking for a chilled climb or a natter on Reception on Saturday 14th then that won’t be the day for it.
B2:
- Setting will start from Tuesday 10th and will continue throughout the week
- There will be very restricted access on Friday 13th for setting and obviously Saturday 14th for the qualifying rounds.
- Further details on the dates and availability of specific walls will be provided very shortly.
C2:
- No setting work is due on roped climbing, however…
- The Boulder Comp Wall will be out of action for setting from Wednesday 12th – reopening on Sunday 15th morning.
- The inside of C2 will be closed for roped climbing during the Finals (Youth from 12.30pm – to 2pm and Adults between 6.45pm to 8.30pm) as the only lights in the building will be ones on the Comp Wall.
- C2 outside wall will be open as usual during the week and on the Saturday.
No work due in B1 or C1 this week. However, B1 will be closed between 1pm and 4pm for a private NIBAS Session on Saturday 14th. C1 will be open as usual.
Sorry for any inconvenience. Any queries at all or for further details, get in touch.
