It’s taken a while to get here, but the time has finally come!
FRIDAY 6th DECEMBER
The day we open the doors on the newest bouldering centre in the country!
Further details will be released over the coming days and weeks on everything from our opening times to prices and memberships and even our grading system, but for now, we wanted to let you know it’s actually about to finally happen.
If you haven’t been following our updates on our socials, here’s a run through what we have in store. Alternatively, you can see for yourself and book a tour around the facilities for the end of November (more details on this below).
BOULDERING
Boulder Two – our brand new, main bouldering gym! With more surface area than many standalone bouldering centres, our new facilities will offer something for everyone from beginner to elite level. With over 150 blocs, 1,000m2 of bouldering surfaces, a large 16ft wide kilter board and 16ft wide spray wall plus a gym and training area it’s gonna be a pretty special place. The walls are a bit of a blank canvas at the moment but our setting team are chomping at the bit to get some holds and volumes up on them. Scroll down to see about our Memberships.
FUN WALLS
Our Fun Walls are where climbing goes a little crazy! We have 16 different funky elements to scale, all of which offer a bright, bold and brilliant way for children to experience some vibrant vertical adventures! Though they’re suitable for big kids and adults, the area has been developed with intrepid youngsters aged 5 to 13 years old in mind. As well as being an incredible amount of fun, the walls also offer an accessible way for people to get into climbing so are perfect for unexperienced daredevils to get to grips with some impressive heights! CLIMBING
The roped climbing gym is a little way off, if all goes to plan then it’s due for April 2025. But it’ll be worth the wait – our main climbing gym will be one of the best in the UK. With over 2,000m2 climbing surface including 17m high walls, a 15.5m centrepiece, over 200 routes, around 100 lower-offs, 30 auto-belay routes, and IFSC speed walls the centre will offer incredible climbing for all abilities from beginners to professionals!
CAFE BAR
Away from all the action, we’re also making progress with our new licensed café bar. It’s a large yet welcoming space with fantastic views overlooking the Ropes Course. Offering great-tasting coffee, specialty teas, refreshing soft drinks and tasty treats, it will be the ideal place to relax and unwind whether you’ve been exploring the high ropes, climbing on the walls, meeting friends, or simply passing by on a walk.

It’s also worth remembering that if you sign up to Membership you get early access to the centre ahead of our public opening on Dec 6th, so you can climb from Sat 30th November!
We’re running some pre-opening special offers where you can get your first month of membership for either £5 or £20 depending on which type you go with – speak to us for more details or talk to us after your tour!

It’s all incredibly exciting, however, we realise you may have some queries. We plan to hold some Q&A sessions as well as the membership tours over the coming weeks to hopefully answer any questions around the opening.
