We’re holding a Climbing Festival from Friday 29 to Sunday 31 August.
We’ve got loads of things lined up. It’s set to be three days of climbing, prizes, fun, food & music (and hopefully some sunshine) with something for everyone from inexperienced to hardcore climbers of all ages.
The weekend offers a fantastic opportunity to have fun, climb some exciting and challenging routes, hopefully claim a prize, and spend time with some of the most exciting coaches in the country!
How’s it work?
First up, you need to get your Festival Ticket – you can do this by clicking the button below. You can choose a 3-Day Ticket or a Single Day Ticket. A 3-Day Festival Ticket gives you entry to climbing and bouldering, plus access to loads of events across all three days of the Festival. A Saturday Ticket is restricted to entry and events on the Saturday only – while a Sunday Ticket only allows entry and access to events on the Sunday.
Upon purchase of the Ticket, we’ll send you a confirmation email, along with a very special link to an Events checkout. From there you will be to book individual events and find out all the details on each of them. Remember, if you have booked a single day ticket then you can only participate in and book events for that specific day.
For a quick look, take a look at the poster below but we have loads of events happening – from competitions, activities and challenges, to live music and tonnes of stalls, plus sessions and some great workshops from some of the best and most exciting climbing coaches and athletes in the country including Neil Gresham and Tommy Matthews to name but two!
Please note – most of the events must be booked. Many of them are free and included within the price of the Festival Ticket, while some others will require payment. For most of the events there are multiple times available so there should be something for you – however it’s worth noting that spaces for all bookable events (whether free or paid) are limited and subject to availability so to avoid any disappointment you do need to pre-book any of the ones you wish to attend.

If an event has booked up at any point, it’s worth checking back from time to time as we will try to open up more spaces for various events upon demand.
Business As Usual – well sort of, we will be open as per normal over the Friday to Sunday – so if you’re not interested in attending the festival you can just come and climb as per usual, however please note that we expect the whole Park to be much busier than usual so you may want to plan ahead accordingly. We have acquired a temporary overflow car park just a short walk down the road on Dog Lane just past the housing estate (as signposted).
If you are not participating but just watching and are accompanying someone who is taking part in any of the events, you are welcome to join them without purchasing a Festival Ticket and enjoy various aspects of the Festival such as the live music, the stalls and the food and general vibes!
